This new site will be about my personal life, as well as my gaming opinions. I will also use this site as a temporary portfolio until I can get my main portfolio site set up. I feel that portfolios should explain the type of person the site is about, while also displaying the creator’s talents and abilities. During the process of my pursuit to become a marketer, I plan on displaying some of the content that I have done during my studies at Full Sail University to help potential employers see the style and passion of my work. I believe content is the key to attracting attention to future employers, but I also believe a professional looking site can also help.
I choose to use a simple theme to be more appealing to guests that visit my site. After working with sites for the past three years, I found out that users prefer sites that are easy on the eyes and have very little distractions. The gadgets that I choose to use for this site will help visitors get to know me as a person and they will also help inform visitors of the type of followers I have and what type of discussions are going on. As I continue to use this site as a portfolio, I will begin adding pages to display the type of work I have done in the past. These pages will be used to help keep all the content organized and easily assessable for the visitors.
